Fans of Kitaro must visit Shigeru Road in Sakaiminato. For those who are familiar with Kitaro, Shigeru Road is filled with shops dedicated to him as it is the hometown of its creator Shigeru Mizuki. Yokai statues cover the area. The Shigeru Mizuki Museum also lies on the road. Admission is ¥700 per adult. To access, you may take the train from Tottori Station to Yonago Station and then switch to the platform covered with Kitaro characters.
