There’s me on the right, looking entirely unwilling to take this photo. I grew up in a quiet place and lived a pretty regular life. It wasn’t until 24 that I realized I wasn’t learning anything anymore. One night while I was doing my papers, I came across photos of the Fushimi Inari Taisha. Something filled my heart with excitement at the thought of being in that picture. I decided I wanted to see Japan for myself and not through a machine. Shortly after, I dropped out of University and began working to fund my expenses. Now at 25 I will visit Japan.
